Position Overview
Fullbay is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to design, execute, and optimize the programs that drive engagement and conversion throughout the marketing funnel. This role focuses on leveraging Marketo and complementary marketing tools to create automated, data-driven journeys that convert leads into customers and re-engage existing audiences. You’ll lead the development of nurture campaigns, build and optimize conversion experiences, and collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to ensure every touchpoint delivers measurable impact. This is a hands-on, strategic position ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of technology, content, and performance — transforming lifecycle insights into campaigns that drive real results.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Email Campaign Execution
- Build, QA, and deploy email campaigns in Marketo with high accuracy and minimal oversight
- Ensure all campaigns meet quality standards, including:
- Visual consistency and formatting
- Functional links and proper tracking (UTMs)
- Accurate audience segmentation and targeting
- Clean text and HTML versions
- Execute rapid-turn and same-day email requests when needed
- Ownership & Speed
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Quickly implement feedback and revisions, often within hours
- Own campaigns end-to-end—from build through deployment—without requiring step-by-step direction
- Marketo & Audience Management
- Build and manage smart lists, segmentation, and campaign logic in Marketo
- Ensure precise audience targeting aligned with campaign objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently within Marketo programs
- Lifecycle Marketing & Campaign Strategy
- Design and execute nurture programs aligned to buyer journey stages
- Develop lifecycle strategies to engage, convert, and re-engage leads
- Partner with RevOps to improve lead scoring, segmentation, and attribution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Ideation
- Act as a key contributor across Marketing, Sales, and RevOps
- Proactively bring forward ideas for:
- Email campaigns and messaging
- Lead generation strategies
- Marketing automation improvements
- Funnel optimization
- Optimization & Performance
- Run A/B tests across emails, landing pages, and CTAs
- Analyze campaign performance and continuously improve results
- Apply data-driven insights to refine targeting, messaging, and timing
- AI-Driven Execution & Workflow Optimization
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate:
- Email drafting and iteration
- Subject line and CTA testing
- Campaign ideation and content variations
- Use AI to support:
- QA checks (formatting, inconsistencies, errors)
- Copy refinement and clarity
- Generation of A/B testing variations
- Build repeatable, AI-assisted workflows to improve execution speed and consistency
- Critically evaluate AI outputs and ensure all deliverables meet Fullbay quality standards
- Continuously explore and implement new AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and performance
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate:
- Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- 4–7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a focus on lifecycle, demand generation, or email marketing.
- Hands-on experience using Marketo (or similar platform) to build, launch, and optimize email campaigns.
- Strong understanding of funnel metrics, segmentation, and conversion optimization.
- Experience with landing pages and lead capture tools (e.g., Unbounce, OptinMonster, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and iterative campaign improvement.
- Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and QA rigor.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day marketing workflows
- Ability to use AI to increase speed without sacrificing quality or accuracy
- Strong judgment in editing, refining, and validating AI-generated content
- Experience using AI for:
- Copywriting and editing
- Campaign ideation
- QA support
- A/B testing variation
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to build and send emails with a high degree of accuracy and QA rigor
- Strong attention to detail across formatting, links, segmentation, and campaign setup
- Experience catching and resolving errors before campaigns are deployed
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate to accelerate execution, while maintaining full responsibility for accuracy, QA, and final campaign quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality
- Demonstrated ability to handle rapid turnaround requests
- Deep, hands-on experience with Marketo (or similar platform), including:
- Smart lists and segmentation logic
- Campaign flows and triggers
- Email build and QA
- Ability to troubleshoot issues without heavy reliance on others
- Self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables and follows through to completion
- Comfortable making decisions and moving work forward independently
- Strong ability to project manage, keeping tracking of multiple requests with different deadlines
- Can communicate clearly as projects progress
- Knows when to ask for help—but does not rely on constant direction
