We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving new enrollments and engaging our students through thoughtful, data-informed communications.
What You’ll Do
You’ll help shape how we nurture prospective and current students, from their first interaction with StraighterLine to course completion and beyond. You’ll design and execute campaigns that guide leads through the enrollment journey and keep students engaged after they join.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive conversion and retention: Develop lead and customer nurture campaigns — focusing on email, SMS, pop-ups, and slide-ins triggered by user behavior.
- Map the customer journey: Create and optimize lifecycle maps to deliver seamless, personalized experiences across every touchpoint.
- Segment and personalize: Build audience segments and tailor messages based on behaviors, preferences, and lifecycle stage.
- Own the CRM: Manage HubSpot marketing automation to ensure smooth execution of email, SMS, and chat campaigns that align marketing and sales efforts.
- Analyze and improve: Collaborate with data partners to identify new behavioral triggers, build reports, and track KPIs like open rates, CTR, conversion, and retention.
- Test and learn: Develop and maintain a testing roadmap to continuously improve messaging and performance.
- Monitor and maintain: Ensure automated campaigns run flawlessly and uphold StraighterLine’s brand standards.
- Stay ahead: Monitor competitor lifecycle marketing strategies and industry trends to keep our initiatives sharp.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with product, sales, creative, data, and partnerships to deliver high-quality, on-time campaigns through Asana.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in lifecycle, email, or CRM marketing (preferably in an EdTech, subscription, or consumer brand).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot and marketing automation tools.
- Analytical mindset with comfort building reports and tracking key metrics.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and personalization.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a mission-driven team.
- Copywriting skills are a plus.
We believe education should be affordable, flexible, and within reach for everyone. At StraighterLine, you’ll join a collaborative, student-first team working to reshape how learners access college credit and complete their degrees.
