Livorsi Marine
OEM Account Manager
Grayslake, IL | Full-Time

About Livorsi Marine

Livorsi Marine is a Grayslake, IL-based manufacturer of precision marine instrumentation, controls, and accessories trusted by boat builders across the industry. From gauges and steering wheels to throttle controls and custom OEM solutions, our products are specified by some of the most demanding manufacturers on the water. We build for performance, durability, and the exacting standards that serious builders require.

The Role

We're looking for a driven, technically-minded OEM Sales Representative to grow Livorsi Marine's relationships with boat builders and manufacturers. Based at our Grayslake facility, you'll work directly with OEM customers from initial contact through production integration — bringing new products to their lines and making sure every project lands on time and on spec. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the marine industry, loves being on the water and in the shop, and has the sales instincts to open doors in markets we haven't yet reached.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive direct sales of Livorsi Marine products to boat builders, dealers, marine distributors, and select non-marine OEM customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers from first contact through long-term partnership
  • Introduce new products and provide ongoing technical support, serving as a knowledgeable resource throughout the sales and integration process
  • Act as project liaison from design to delivery — coordinating with our internal engineering and production teams to manage timelines and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Contribute to product research, design input, and development based on field feedback and market intelligence
  • Monitor domestic and international industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and new revenue streams
  • Attend and represent Livorsi Marine at key industry trade shows and customer facilities

Target Markets

The ideal candidate has existing relationships in one or more of the following markets:

  • Towed watersports
  • Center console
  • High-performance offshore
  • Military / defense
  • Bass boat
  • Pontoon

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years managing a sales territory in the marine industry, with a proven record of territory growth and retention
  • Deep familiarity with the marine OEM ecosystem — manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and retail — and how buying decisions get made at each level
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; working knowledge of marine engine components and rigging is a meaningful plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to speak credibly to both technical and purchasing contacts
  • Self-motivated prospector who can identify and develop opportunities with minimal direction
  • Ability to identify revenue opportunities outside the marine industry
  • Comfortable with standard business software; CRM experience a plus

Nice to Have

  • Background working in or alongside a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, gauges, steering, or control systems
  • Existing contacts at OEM boat builders in any of our target markets

Location: Based at our Grayslake, IL facility 25-50% nationwide travel to customer sites and industry trade shows.
