Description:
As Logistics Analyst intern, you will support the optimization of the company's supply chain by collecting and analyzing data related to transportation, inventory, warehousing, and assisting with process improvement initiatives. The role involves a blend of data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with various teams.
Our internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically between 8 AM-5 PM. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze transportation and order data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost and delivery efficiency
- Support logistics planning and scheduling for shipments across multiple regions and multiple vendor locations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely and accurate data for cost/service/deliveries
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports for transportation/logistics performance metrics
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain optimization
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Busniess Management, Logistics, Physical Ditribution , or a related field, with an expected graduation conferral date between May, 2026 to May, 2027.
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between May through September 2026.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving sk ills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $20.00 an hour.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed primarily in a combination of warehouse and office environment with low to moderate noise levels,
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Position requires regular, continuous use of a computer.
- Position requires regular sitting and standing and walking.
- Position requires regular interaction with team members through in-person meetings, phone calls, video conferencing, or email.
- This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected in the office M, T & Th with optional work from home days Wednesday & Friday.
