Job Description

• Plan logistical movements across all relevant modes (road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air). 

• Directly collaborate with freight forwarders for all marine shipments 

• Directly collaborate with rail companies for rail shipments 

• Coordinate tendering activities leveraging the Mercury Gate and SAP (North America). All other regions will work with the local warehouses until Mercury Gate is deployed to those regions. 

• Is responsible for coordination of activities regarding movement of goods for road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air, and compartmentalized vessels 

• Work across process areas, mainly customer service, for tendering exception processes 

• Calculate freight costs for each movement, including all cost types 

• Pass information onto accounts payable team for match and payment.
