About the Role

As an Account Manager on Uber Freight's Last Mile team, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with shippers by providing exceptional service, optimizing their logistics strategies, and ensuring seamless last-mile delivery execution. You will act as the primary point of contact for shippers, proactively addressing their needs while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and expand our partnership.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Serve as the primary liaison for shippers, managing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of each shipper’s business needs, challenges, and goals to tailor Uber Freight’s last-mile solutions accordingly. 
  • Monitor and analyze shipping performance, proactively addressing any service disruptions or inefficiencies. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Operations, Product, and Sales, to enhance service offerings and resolve shipper concerns. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing shippers, drive revenue growth, and improve customer retention. 
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting to shippers, helping them optimize their last-mile logistics strategies. 
  • Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving shipper needs to inform strategic decision-making. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, logistics software, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience in last-mile logistics or e-commerce fulfillment is a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. 
  • Ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the last mile logistics space 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 

 

Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees

Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.  US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.

Illinois: The salary range for this role is $76,850 to $93,700 a year.
