Since 2024, we have worked with major corporations to invest over $7 billion in clean energy projects, including some of the industry's largest tax credit transactions. We are a fast-growing and profitable mission-driven company, fueled by an expert 25+ person team that knows how to get things done.

Our founders, Billy Lee and Andy Moon, are second-time entrepreneurs and were early pioneers in solar tax equity and project finance. Our team is filled with experienced leaders from SunEdison, SolarCity, Tesla, GoodLeap, and other leading clean energy companies. We’re proud of maintaining a strong mission-driven company culture that values creativity, collaboration, and speed … while still having fun.

We look for curious, smart, and kind colleagues with an entrepreneurial streak (we have quite a few ex-entrepreneurs on our team). Reunion is a great place to learn from energy finance experts and play a critical role in deploying clean energy technologies such as battery storage, nuclear, manufacturing, solar, and wind.

About the role

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager of Business Development to help grow our top-of-funnel sales efforts with both large corporations and clean energy developers and manufacturers. Our ideal candidate has a “hunter sales” mindset, while also having the ability to work highly collaboratively with other team members.

What you’ll do
  • Drive top-of-funnel pipeline generation through high-quality outbound prospecting. Develop and execute fresh campaigns, in collaboration with marketing and technology teams, that break into new accounts and markets.

  • Build and expand a network of relationships with clean energy developers, manufacturers, and large corporations — consistently opening new doors through cold outreach, email, in-person meetings, and conferences.

  • Serve as a credible, consultative partner who can hold their own on both technical and strategic questions — earning trust quickly with new prospects and converting relationships into pipeline.

  • Create inbound pull through active participation in webinars, panels, and industry events, positioning yourself as a go-to voice in clean energy finance to generate net-new interest.

  • Contribute to market intelligence and thought leadership initiatives that support prospecting efforts. Build relationships with professional services firms and ecosystem players who can serve as referral sources.

  • Bring a constant flow of creative and new business development ideas to the table, and the lead the process from internal pitch to execution

What you’ll need
  • A track record of accomplishment in early-stage or entrepreneurial settings

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort using technology and other hacks to get a lot done with limited resources

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience working in a high-growth environment

  • NOTE: Reunion is an equal opportunity employer. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't line up exactly with the job description.

Why Join Us?
  • Help scale one of the most exciting and impactful clean energy finance companies

  • Work directly with experienced founders and a top-tier team

  • Competitive compensation and early-stage equity

  • Benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and partial coverage for dependents

  • Generous 401K match, travel to company offsites 2-3x per year to meet teammates in-person, flexible PTO plan

Location
  • We are a remote-first company, but for this role we prefer a candidate that is located in San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Seattle, WA
