Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Product Manager to join the Signify Health team to help realize the product vision to help move care homeward for all.  This role will lead the data governance strategy for our data warehouse and analytics environment, focusing on the platform capabilities that make data discoverable, trusted, and well-managed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data governance platform, establishing the cataloging, lineage, data quality standards, and policy enforcement capabilities the organization needs to use data with confidence.

This role requires exceptional collaboration skills, as the Product Manager will work intimately with cross-functional teams including data engineering, software engineering teams, business intelligence, and various business stakeholders. This collaboration will be crucial for translating governance needs (data quality standards, metadata management, lineage, and stewardship) into robust, scalable, and user-friendly platform capabilities that drive adoption, unlock trusted insights, and strengthen organizational confidence in our data.

This role will report to our Senior Manager, Digital Product, within the technology organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years professional experience including 4 or more years specifically in product based roles, with a significant focus on data products or platforms (governance, catalog, quality, or analytics platforms preferred).

  • Proven experience defining and executing a data governance strategy, from current-state assessment through capability roadmap and rollout.

  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts and practices, including data quality standards, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, and policy enforcement.

  • Experience with data governance and analytics platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon, Databricks Unity Catalog, or similar) is required.

  • Proficiency in SQL, plus fluency reading data models, metadata, and lineage representations.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive platform adoption across data producers, stewards, and consumers, including the change management required to land new governance tooling.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and track success metrics for governance work (adoption, coverage, data quality), and to use that data to prioritize investment and report on impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior healthcare technology experience.

  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability, standard data exchange formats such as HL7, FHIR, C-CDA.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and HITRUST in a data governance context.

  • Snowflake experience.

  • Working knowledge of dbt or comparable transformation tooling.

  • AI/ML experience, experience leveraging AI tools for automation (Cursor, Claude Code).

  • Familiarity with ETL and data integration in the context of governed data pipelines.

  • Experience taking a governance platform from pilot to scaled adoption.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

  • Master's degree preferred
