Position Summary

The Enterprise Resiliency Manager will play a key role in executing CVS Health’s Enterprise Resiliency strategy, focusing on the continuous enhancement of Business Continuity and Resiliency programs across designated service lines. This position will involve planning, implementing, and overseeing response and recovery strategies at the Business Unit level to ensure the organization is well-prepared to respond to and recover from disruptions, maintain critical operations during crises, and minimize impacts on financial, operational, compliance, and reputational aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with senior management and stakeholders to implement and support business continuity services, ensuring alignment across various lines of business.

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for all escalations, concerns, or contentions related to the Business Continuity and Resiliency programs.

  • Collaborate with assigned business units to ensure adherence to Business Continuity program policies and standards, as well as effective crisis management response and communication.

  • Lead Business Continuity planning initiatives, focusing on the adequacy of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical business areas, functions, and applications to ensure operational continuity, asset protection, loss mitigation, and optimal recovery times during disruptions.

  • Work closely with department leaders to conduct Business Impact Analyses, risk assessments, and develop risk mitigation strategies and BCPs to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and client contracts.

  • Support and manage the business continuity audit program by coordinating audit activities, ensuring compliance with established standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to bolster organizational resilience.

  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify gaps in recovery strategies and address deficiencies in contingency plans.

  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate comprehensive exercises to regularly test BCPs, documenting results and working with business leaders to remediate identified issues.

  • Facilitate the creation of Site Incident Management plans and conduct related exercises.

  • Support business unit incident response calls and assist during large-scale crisis events.

  • Manage the emergency notification system for business units, ensuring updates reflect changes in staff size, location, organization, and facilities.

  • Utilize Business Continuity planning tools to ensure program updates align with key deliverables.

  • Conduct business continuity training and awareness sessions for designated management across all functional areas.

  • Perform additional program and project activities as assigned by the Senior Manager or Director.


Required Qualifications

  • Minmum of five (5) years of combined experience in Business Continuity, Enterprise Resiliency, Risk Management, Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Project Management, Operational Management

  • Minimum of one (1) year of people leadership experience

  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule - one day per week in the office (Wednesdays)

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification within the business continuity/disaster recovery industry (i.e., Certified Business Continuity Professional)

  • Strong project management experience.

  • Experience using and maintaining BC planning tools.

  • Experience with emergency notification system.

  • Experience in presenting to, and proven ability to effectively communicate with senior management.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to interface and coordinate efficiently with business partners locally and in remote locations.

  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.

  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment, lead a team and make decisions.

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
