We are seeking a finance-focused BI leader to serve as a global partner to the Finance organization, strengthening the connection between financial rigor, analytical capability, and decision velocity.
Position Overview
The Manager, Finance Reporting & BI Development serves as a senior technical and strategic partner within SharkNinja's BI & AI organization, supporting Finance teams globally. Reporting to the Senior Director of BI & AI, this role owns the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise finance reporting solutions, with a primary focus on Power BI.
This role partners closely with FP&A, Commercial Finance, Accounting, and Finance Leadership across regions to translate complex financial structures into scalable, audit-ready reporting architectures. Beyond delivering reporting solutions, this role plays a critical enablement function-uplifting finance subject matter experts (SMEs) to engage more deeply with BI tools, metrics, and analytical frameworks.
The role is ideal for an experienced finance analytics professional who thrives at the intersection of financial rigor, data architecture, and global stakeholder enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Global Finance Reporting Architecture & Ownership
  • Own the global architecture for finance reporting within Power BI, establishing scalable and repeatable frameworks that support enterprise P&L reporting, margin analysis, and performance management across regions.
  • Define global standards for financial dashboards, semantic models, and metric layers that scale across geographies, channels, and product hierarchies.
  • Serve as the primary finance-facing BI development lead, ensuring alignment between global Finance requirements and BI delivery.

Advanced Reporting & Insight Development
  • Design and deliver executive-ready Power BI dashboards supporting global financial performance, forecasting, and pacing.
  • Translate complex financial data into intuitive, decision-oriented insights aligned to global finance calendars and leadership rhythms.
  • Ensure consistency of financial reporting outputs while allowing for appropriate regional flexibility.

Global Finance Partnership & Influence
  • Act as a trusted BI partner to FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Accounting leadership across regions.
  • Shape reporting roadmaps by proactively identifying common needs, gaps, and opportunities across the global Finance organization.
  • Influence reporting priorities through deep understanding of finance processes, controls, and decision-making requirements.

Finance SME Enablement & Capability Building
  • Partner with finance subject matter experts to upskill and enable deeper engagement with BI tools and reporting, increasing self-sufficiency and analytical maturity.
  • Provide guidance, best practices, and frameworks that help finance teams translate business questions into effective BI requirements.
  • Support the development of a stronger "analytics muscle" within Finance by elevating understanding of metrics, data structures, and reporting logic.
  • Establish clear documentation and transparency around metric definitions, assumptions, and data lineage to build trust and adoption.

Metrics, Data Modeling & Governance
  • Define, standardize, and own global finance metrics and DAX logic, including YoY growth, variance to plan, contribution margin, and rolling outlooks.
  • Establish metric governance to ensure consistency, transparency, and auditability across all finance reporting.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure financial data models are accurate, performant, and aligned with enterprise definitions.

SOX, Controls & Audit-Ready Reporting
  • Lead the development of SOX-compliant finance reporting solutions in partnership with Accounting and Internal Audit.
  • Embed controls, validation logic, and documentation into BI models to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure global finance reporting meets expectations around data accuracy, consistency, and governance.

Performance Optimization & Scalability
  • Architect and optimize high-volume financial data models across SKU, channel, and regional dimensions.
  • Implement best practices for performance, including incremental refresh strategies, aggregations, and efficient model design.
  • Proactively identify scalability improvements as data volume and complexity increase globally.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in finance analytics, BI development, or financial systems roles, preferably within consumer products or CPG.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade Power BI solutions supporting finance teams.
  • Advanced expertise in DAX, financial data modeling, and semantic layer design.
  • Strong command of finance fundamentals, including P&L structures, margin analysis, and commercial finance concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and enable senior finance stakeholders across regions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear financial narratives.
  • Highly collaborative, globally minded, and comfortable operating in a matrixed environment.
