The Role

As the Manager of IT Engineering, you will lead the team responsible for our core End User Computing and Network infrastructure. This is a people management role focused on execution, team development, and project delivery. You will manage a team of skilled engineers, including team leads, overseeing our fleet of endpoints (Windows, Mac, AWS Workspaces), office networks (Palo Alto, Aruba), and our SASE implementation (Cloudflare Warp). This role is 70% management and 30% hands-on. Your primary objective is to drive your team's project portfolio to successful completion, translating business priorities into an actionable roadmap and fostering a culture of high performance and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4+ IT Engineers, managing their performance and career growth. Foster a culture of high performance, ownership, and urgency.
  • Project Execution: Take full ownership of the team's project portfolio, from planning to delivery. Implement and refine project management and change control processes to ensure predictability and clear communication for complex technical changes.
  • Driving Results: Proactively identify project delays, remove roadblocks, and instill a sense of urgency to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Technical & Strategic Ownership: Own the technical roadmap and operational health of the End User Computing, Office Network, and SASE environments. Partner with business leaders to align initiatives with company goals.
Skill Requirements
  • 7+ years of IT experience with a background in systems engineering, endpoint management, or network engineering.
  • 3+ years of formal people management experience, including the management of team leads or senior engineers.
  • Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of complex technical projects.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a strong drive to see initiatives through to completion.
Desirable Skills
  • Hands-on scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Deep understanding of SASE/SSE and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure (Palo Alto, Aruba, or similar).
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools (DLP, EDR) and SecOps concepts.
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an exceptional people leader who has transitioned from a senior technical role. You measure your success by the success and growth of your team. You possess a relentless drive to deliver projects, navigate ambiguity with sound judgment, and solve both technical and people-related challenges. You are the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring your team is doing the right work, the right way.
