Job Description:

The Manager, Media Planning role is a critical role that involves developing and executing media campaigns that combine traditional and digital channels. In this hybrid position, you will report to the Director, Planning.

You demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the integrated media landscape and available media research and systems. You will lead the daily account needs by assuring focus on key client goals, and communicating appropriate resource needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and strategize media campaigns

  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to create strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across both digital and traditional channels

  • Communicate with clients directly on questions and specific media plans

  • Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables

  • Analyze competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization

  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart

  • Guide media channel selection and identify new opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in media planning

  • 1+ years managing junior team members

  • 1+ years of experience working on a retail client

  • Experience communicating directly with clients and comfortable performing as the day to day client lead

  • Relevant media planning and buying experience across channels

  • Familiar with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, and/ or other media tools

Additional Information:

The annual salary range for this position is $62,100-$83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
