Being a Manager, Product Marketing at iManage Means… 

You will lead a team of product marketers within the iManage portfolio marketing organization, reporting into Portfolio Marketing leadership. 

In this role, you are responsible for leading and operating the day-to-day product marketing execution, managing a team of product marketers, and ensuring consistent, high-quality product marketing delivery 

This is a hands-on people manager role focused on execution quality and delivery discipline. You will provide structure, clarity, and momentum for your team while actively contributing to product marketing output 

iM Responsible For… 

Team Leadership and Execution 

  • Establish and maintain clear operating standards, frameworks, and ways of working for product marketing execution 
  • Establish and reinforce a consistent launch process aligned with Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success 
  • Set priorities, expectations, and quality bars to ensure consistent output across the team 
  • Coach product marketers to execute effectively within defined processes, templates, and delivery cadences 
  • Balance people leadership with hands-on contribution to critical product marketing deliverables as needed 
  • Ensure work is well-scoped, sequenced, and delivered on time through disciplined planning and execution practices 

Go-To-Market Execution 

  • Ensure product marketers partner effectively with Product Management throughout the delivery lifecycle to support readiness, clarity, and alignment 
  • Establish and run a consistent go-to-market approach for new capabilities, enhancements, and releases across the team 
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality sales enablement inputs, while enablement and content teams manage production and delivery 
  • Drive execution consistency and quality by leveraging established product marketing processes, templates, and operating cadences 

Messaging and Positioning 

  • Ensure the team produces high-quality, differentiated messaging and positioning aligned to portfolio direction 
  • Set expectations and provide guidance to ensure messaging reflects customer workflows, value, and outcomes 
  • Oversee ongoing updates to messaging as capabilities evolve, in coordination with Product Management and Portfolio Marketing leadership 

Customer Insights 

  • Own and run a cross-functional customer insights program that supports day-to-day product marketing execution 
  • Establish and maintain repeatable customer feedback loops in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success 
  • Synthesize inputs from multiple teams into actionable insights for messaging, positioning, launches, and enablement 
  • Ensure customer evidence, workflows, and language are consistently reflected across product marketing deliverables

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success.  
  • Act as a reliable execution partner who ensures the team keeps work moving and stakeholders informed 
  • Establish strong cross-functional coordination without owning upstream strategy or downstream channel execution 

Marketing Team Collaboration  

  • Act as a central point of alignment across the Marketing organization to reduce fragmentation and ensure teams operate from a shared understanding of platform value, priorities, timing, and audience impact 
  • Partner with Demand, Growth, Events, and Field Marketing to ensure product narratives, value propositions, and use cases are consistently activated across integrated campaigns, field motions, and regional programs 
  • Partner with Content Marketing to translate product messaging into compelling thought leadership, customer stories, and educational resources that resonate with target audiences 
  • Work with Digital Marketing to ensure consistent product positioning across web properties, digital experiences, and marketing automation touchpoints 
  • Establish structured feedback loops with marketing teams to understand in-market performance and continuously refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market inputs
iM Qualified Because I Have… 
  • Eight to ten years of experience in product marketing within a SaaS organization 
  • Prior experience managing product marketers or similar roles 
  • Project or program management experience supporting structured planning, coordination, and delivery 
  • Strong hands-on experience executing go-to-market initiatives, messaging, and launches in a SaaS environment 
  • Demonstrated success partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Marketing 
  • A structured, execution-oriented working style with the ability to organize complex workstreams 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment across multiple product areas 

Bonus Points If I Have… 

  • Experience supporting enterprise or complex B2B buying environments 
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments with Product, Sales, and Customer Success 
  • Experience in SaaS legal or document management technology  
  • Experience implementing or improving go-to-market processes, templates, or operating cadences

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
