As the Manager of Professional Services, you will be responsible for leading two high-impact technical teams: the Consulting team (Solutions Architects) and the Custom App/Script Development team (Software Engineers). This role requires a leader with 10-14 years of experience who can bridge the gap between high-level architectural strategy and hands-on custom technical delivery. You will ensure that customers receive a world-class implementation experience through both structured consulting and custom-built automation solutions.
This role will also play a key role in building and scaling the India based Professional Services capability, partnering closely with global stakeholders to ensure strong delivery execution, operational excellence, and team collaboration
What You’ll Be Doing :
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide professional growth opportunities for a distributed team of Professional Services and Solutions Engineering professionals, with a focus on strengthening team capability, collaboration, and delivery excellence across the India based operations.
Scrum Management: Manage the team using Scrum methodology, including planning the product backlog, sprint planning, product prioritization, and tracking team velocity.
Take responsibility in the growth of services business in the region. Strategize offerings and plans to drive better service delivery adoption.
Collaborate with cross functional global teams including Customer Success, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and Leadership stakeholders to drive successful customer delivery outcomes and operational alignment.
Drive product adoption and contribute to customer retention and growth.
Drive, track and implement professional services metrics to be able to evaluate team performance.
Strategic Oversight: Own and design complex tools and solutions, ensuring they meet the specific technical and business needs of our customers.
Process Improvement: Identify trends and review data to make informed decisions regarding tooling and process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the Professional Services team in strategic meetings with internal stakeholders across GCS, Engineering, and Product.
Technical Guidance: Provide a trusted technical bridge between JumpCloud and our customers, offering guidance on everything from User Adoption strategy to custom SCIM integrations.
Migration & Implementation: Manage a team that consults, plans, and oversees implementations and migrations from legacy directories (e.g., Active Directory, Okta) to the JumpCloud platform.
We’re Looking For :
Experience: 10–14 years of experience in programming, scripting, or professional services in a SaaS or IT environment.
Leadership: At least 3–5 years of experience leading technical teams and owning engineering initiatives.
Agile Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing software teams using Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting, as well as experience with Python or other object-oriented languages.
Directory Services: Deep expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, AzureAD, and Okta.
Protocols & Networking: Advanced understanding of LDAP(S), RADIUS, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
Cloud & OS Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GWS, and experience managing Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Project Management: Familiar with project management strategies and implementing them to ensure satisfactory completion of technical deployment projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
