About the Role
As a Manager, Renewal Accounts, your primary responsibility will be to lead, coach, and scale a team of Renewal Account Managers while holding commercial accountability for retention performance and forecast accuracy. Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Associate RAMs, RAMs, Sr. RAMs, and Team Leads to build confident commercial owners.
- Establish clear expectations for role execution, deal ownership, inspection cadences, and renewal accountability.
- Own overall renewal performance and forecast accuracy across the assigned book of business.
- Guide teams through complex negotiations, at-risk renewals, deal hygiene standards, and customer escalations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Finance, and Legal to ensure unified renewal execution.
- Maintain operational excellence and accurate reporting using Salesforce, Clari, and internal forecasting tools.
- Monitor renewal health signals, identify systemic risks, and implement strategy, pricing, and policy governance.
- Reinforce renewal playbooks, framework execution, and continuous enablement in partnership with leadership.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include
- Bring 4+ years of SaaS renewals, account management, or commercial ownership experience.
- Demonstrate 2+ years of direct people leadership experience managing commercial or customer-facing teams.
- Hold yourself and others responsible for driving retention outcomes, forecast accuracy, and clear deal ownership standards.
- Build a global network and work across boundaries with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to create alignment.
- Think big and act small by breaking renewal targets into actionable milestones, cadence discipline, and operating rhythms.
- Embrace difficult conversations, actively listen, and check for understanding during complex commercial negotiations and risk escalations.
- Display advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Clari, and modern revenue forecasting platforms.
- Exhibit a strong analytical mindset, commercial rigor, and a track record of driving predictable retention results at scale.
- Bring background experience within the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS industry.
