HHAeXchange is the leading technology platform for home and community-based care. Founded in 2008, HHAeXchange was born out of an idea to create a fully comprehensive end-to-end homecare solution to help people who are aging or have disabilities thrive in their homes and communities. Our employees are passionate about transforming the healthcare space by building the only homecare ecosystem that fully connects patients, personal care providers, managed care organizations, and states.
We are seeking a deeply experienced engineering leader to join our R&D organization as Manager, Software Engineering and lead one or more engineering teams delivering AI-enabled platform capabilities for HHAeXchange. This role sits at the core of our technology strategy focusing on day-to-day engineering execution, people leadership, and operational excellence, ensuring teams deliver high-quality, secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who has transitioned into leadership and enjoys mentoring developers while still contributing technically when needed.
This is an opportunity to shape a platform that powers critical healthcare workflows, data interoperability, and next-generation intelligent systems. You will lead a team of high-performing engineers and technical leads, driving modernization, bringing clarity to ambiguity, rigor to execution, and discipline to prioritization. Success in this role requires the ability to balance long-term platform vision with near-term delivery, while maintaining high standards for reliability, security, and scalability in a complex, high-impact healthcare ecosystem.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the US only.
