We are looking for an Innovative Technology Planning Manager to join our team as a senior consulting and advisory leader, driving meaningful change for our strategic clients in the global healthcare sector. This position is instrumental in delivering strategic planning and advisory services while fostering excellence within the team. The role leverages proven methodologies alongside deep expertise to guide and support clients in addressing complex challenges. Key focus areas include optimizing people, processes, and technology to ensure the optimal utilization of clinical equipment and technology, maximizing value and return on investments for our customers while also enabling them to meet their strategic goals.
As a manager in the advisory service team, you will focus on creation and delivery of vendor agnostic assessments of clinical assets including capital planning, optimization, workflow and technology. The role is primarily focused on supporting our clients' larger strategic goals with a primary focus on radiology imaging and with service line and care pathway considerations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Drive impactful solutions through scalable processes, automation, and digital innovations, aligning business objectives with client needs. Translate healthcare trends into actionable innovative strategies for clients and GE HealthCare.
  • Business Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of commercial practices, conduct external benchmarking, and contribute to GE HealthCare's strategic advisory services. Oversee implementation of differentiated strategies to meet business and customer objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Lead complex engagements using advanced problem-solving and data analysis. Deliver innovative recommendations based on industry insights and client needs to achieve optimal results.
  • Team Leadership: Manage teams, foster collaboration, and mentor staff. Lead high-stakes projects involving complex resource management. Conduct key stakeholder interviews and provide strategic alignment.
  • Communication and Influence: Present executive-level strategies, build consensus, and balance diverse perspectives across teams. Strengthen client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver cohesive strategies for optimal outcomes. Collaborate on fleet management programs and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, operations management, or relevant field (OR equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role with an emphasis on healthcare related functional area or advisory services.
  • A strong understanding of market trends, commercial strategy development, and competitive analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and apply critical thinking to achieve results.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring professional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 20%.

Desired Experience

  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations, particularly in radiology, imaging, or specialty service lines, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data management principles and tools, particularly Excel-based strategies.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies or similar consulting frameworks.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Change Management, working knowledge in implementing change in an organization
  • Previous experience in the role as a director of radiology

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
