CFGI’s Managed Services practice delivers transformative finance and accounting solutions by fully managing operations below the CFO level. We partner with clients to optimize their finance functions, streamlining processes, enhancing reporting, and enabling faster, data-driven decision-making. Our team leverages advanced technologies, including AI and automation, to drive efficiency, reduce complexity, and deliver timely, high-quality insights across core finance areas in controllership such as daily accounting operations, financial close and reporting.
As a Manager in this practice, you’ll play a key role in client engagements, designing scalable solutions, and driving impactful outcomes—all while helping clients transform their finance operations into strategic assets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the execution of Managed Services engagements, including assessment, transition, and ongoing delivery operations.
· Act as a strategic partner to clients, guiding them through outsourced controllership and finance transformation efforts.
· Drive process improvements across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report functions.
· Collaborate directly with senior client leadership to address complex accounting challenges and develop actionable solutions.
· Design and implement complex dashboards and data models to support advanced operational and financial reporting, KPI tracking, and strategic insights.
· Leverage tools to build scalable, automated solutions, demonstrating expert-level proficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
· Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform client strategies.
· Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
· Participate in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building, and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree in Accounting – Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MBA, CFA are a strong plus but not required.
· 5–7 years of combined experience in audit and industry accounting/finance.
· Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting standards and internal controls.
· Experience with month-end and year-end close processes and general accounting operations.
· Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
· Proficiency in finance technologies and data visualization tools.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for executive audiences.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
· Client-focused with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver strategic value.
