We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support order execution and project coordination within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role manages projects from order entry through shipment by partnering with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure accurate processing, timely delivery, and effective communication.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects from order entry through final shipment.
- Review customer orders to confirm accuracy, required information, and configuration details.
- Track project milestones, including material availability, production progress, testing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate project and order information within ERP and project tracking systems.
- Collaborate daily with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams.
- Provide updates regarding order status, schedule changes, and potential delays.
- Identify orders at risk and escalate issues to support timely resolution.
- Assist with shipping coordination, documentation, and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare internal reports and customer-facing project updates.
- Support process improvement efforts related to order management, scheduling, and tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accurate data.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow projects through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order (MTO) manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting power distribution products or industrial equipment.
- Background coordinating shipments, logistics, or manufactured product deliveries.
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing project management certification.
