About the Role

A big game kicks off. A partner’s market goes stale. A complicated edge case needs explaining. You’re the one who keeps things moving.

As a Market Operations Specialist, you’re the face of CDNA’s predictive markets to our B2B partners—answering their questions, keeping markets healthy, and making sure the experience on the other side of our exchange reflects the quality we hold ourselves to. You’ll monitor live events in real time, flag liquidity gaps before they become problems, help right settlement language and serve as a reliable point of contact when partners need answers fast.

This role doesn’t require a technical background. It requires someone who knows markets, communicates clearly, stays composed when things move fast, and takes pride in making partners feel taken care of.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for B2B partners—answering questions about market availability, contract specs, and settlement outcomes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor live markets during active events, identifying and escalating liquidity gaps, pricing anomalies, or operational issues before they impact partners or traders.
  • Track live sports, political, and macroeconomic events in real time, ensuring markets stay accurate and relevant as events unfold.
  • Coordinate with the broader ExOps team to flag settlement edge cases, surface partner feedback, and ensure issues are routed and resolved quickly.
  • Maintain clear records of partner interactions and market issues, supporting the audit trail required under CFTC regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to weekend and evening coverage rotations—this is when markets are most active and partners need support most.

Who You Are

  • 1–2 years in a client-facing operations, trading support, or market monitoring role.
  • Experience in sports betting, prediction markets, financial exchanges, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with binary options, event contracts, or other derivatives products.
  • Knowledge of CFTC regulations or exchange compliance basics is a plus.
  • Experience working with B2B partners or institutional clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong communicator, you write clearly, respond quickly, and know how to explain a complex market mechanic to someone who isn’t an expert.
  • A sports fan with a feel for the moment. You understand why certain events drive engagement and you’re tuned into the storylines that matter.
  • Calm under pressure. When a partner is frustrated and a market is live, you don’t escalate the tension—you reduce it.
  • Detail-oriented without being slow. You catch the anomaly in a market feed without losing sight of the ten other things you’re tracking.
  • A team player who surfaces problems early.
  • Comfortable working across tools and dashboards to monitor market health; no coding required, but tech-comfortable is a must.

Schedule

Peak markets happen on weekends and evenings, that’s when our partners are most active and when this role matters most. You’ll work rotational shifts that include weekend coverage, with weekday off-days provided in exchange.
