RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities of the Associate Product Manager may include, but are not limited to:
- Develop expertise in assigned product line/category.
- Understand and share market composition, segmentation & trends
- Provide content for marketing materials, collateral, training, etc.
- Support in the development of product training sessions for sales professionals or key leaders.
- Develop and manage website content.
- Manage assigned product line lifecycles.
- Manage products’ lifecycles from launch to obsolescence.
- Obtain and review customer input/feedback for marketing and new product management.
- Develop pricing and marketing strategies.
- Product Development
- Collaborate with the development team to design new product/s through a stage gate design process.
- Responsibilities include design wish list, marketing and economic feasibilities, claims, packaging configurations, initiating label creation, pricing, forecasting, launch and execution strategy, etc.
- Perform competitive analysis to determine product features, positioning, etc.
- Attend tradeshows and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree: Marketing or business preferred.
- 0 to 3 years of work experience in marketing.
- Technical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail and goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
- Ability to effectively work with others to achieve common objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written (formal & creative) communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience with Propel, Loftware, and Power of BI a plus.
