We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager in Chicago, IL to assist in establishing strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of multifamily, commercial, and corporate marketing and branding strategies and initiatives. This position will be responsible for these essential functions:
  • Help set and execute marketing strategies that enhance property performance, optimize budgets, and support portfolio goals.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Associate; provide hands-on support for high‑profile or priority initiatives as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support marketing execution and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in annual business planning and develop strategic marketing budget recommendations.
  • Track and analyze lead generation performance at the property and portfolio level; share insights and recommendations with property teams and leadership.
  • Ensure brand compliance across corporate and property-level marketing and communications.
  • Oversee the company’s brand standards and digital assets, including websites, presentations, and pitch materials.
  • Partner with leadership to manage public relations, social media strategy, and company communications.
  • Lead internal communications initiatives to ensure timely, consistent information sharing across the organization.
  • Plan and execute company‑sponsored events, including grand openings, resident programs, and corporate events, in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Travel periodically to assigned markets to build relationships and maintain market and property familiarity.
  • Direct internal communications initiatives, providing clear, consistent, and timely information to employees through a variety of channels and programs.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications and a minimum 3-5 years’ related experience in real estate marketing with an emphasis on multifamily and commercial assets, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skilled communicator with excellent writing and grammar skills and strong project management capabilities. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Canva required.  
The annual salary for this position is $85,000-100,000; the position is also eligible for an annual year-end discretionary bonus.
