Job Description

About the Role

On The Stage is looking for a creative, highly organized Marketing Content Coordinator to help produce compelling, useful content for prospects, customers, and internal teams.

This is a hands-on role for an early-career marketer who enjoys turning ideas, subject-matter expertise, and campaign briefs into polished content. You will support content production across email, blogs, ebooks, infographics, how-to guides, quick-start guides, website assets, presentations, product release materials, and other marketing deliverables.

You will work across the Marketing team, supporting both new-business and customer-marketing initiatives. You will also partner with subject-matter experts across Product, Sales, Customer Success departments to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with excellent project-management instincts, an eye for visual communication, and the curiosity to learn our products, customers, and industry.

What You'll Do

Content Development & Production

  • Draft, edit, and produce marketing content across a variety of formats, including emails, blog posts, ebooks, infographics, how-to guides, quick-start guides, checklists, one-pagers, customer stories, and campaign assets.
  • Turn briefs, interviews, meeting notes, transcripts, and product documentation into clear, audience-focused content.
  • Adapt core ideas into multiple formats and channels to extend the value of each content investment.
  • Maintain a consistent OTS voice, tone, messaging, and editorial standard across deliverables.
  • Proofread and quality-check content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, brand alignment, links, formatting, and accessibility.
  • Help maintain the content calendar and keep drafts, reviews, approvals, design, and publishing on schedule.

Website & Digital Content

  • Create and update marketing copy and supporting assets for the OTS website.
  • Format pages for readability, consistency, accessibility, and conversion.
  • Apply basic SEO principles, including search intent, page structure, titles, metadata, internal links, and calls to action.
  • Review published pages and assets to confirm that content and design render correctly across devices.

Product Release & Internal Enablement Content

  • Support the Director of Product Marketing in preparation and production of internal and external materials for product updates and releases
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to understand content needs and translate them into useful materials, such as internal presentations, training materials, talking points, FAQs, launch briefs, and reference resources.
  • Create customer-facing educational assets that help users understand and adopt OTS features.
  • Audit and update existing materials as products, messaging, positioning, and processes evolve.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, communications, editorial production, or a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience creating content for multiple formats and audiences.
  • Ability to synthesize information from interviews, briefs, research, and source documents.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to receive, interpret, and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and confidence working with subject-matter experts.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to learn unfamiliar topics, products, and systems.

Systems & Platform Familiarity

  • Content management systems (we host on HubSpot)
  • Email marketing platforms (we use HubSpot)
  • Design platforms (we use Canva and Figma)
  • Presentation tools (we use Google Slides)
  • Project management and documentation tools (we use Notion)
  • Social media platforms and publishing tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong writing, editing, and content production work.
  • Experience producing B2B SaaS, product marketing, customer education, or demand generation content.
  • Experience creating visual assets, presentation decks, or infographics.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot website, landing page, blog, and email tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, web accessibility, and content performance fundamentals.
  • Experience in or a passion for live entertainment, theatre, performing arts, and education a big plus.

  • Demand Gen and Customer Marketing partners consistently have the assets they need to execute their campaigns effectively.
  • Website and product release materials remain current, polished, and consistent.
  • Sales and Customer Success teams receive clear, effective enablement materials for launches and important initiatives.
  • Content projects move smoothly through briefing, drafting, review, design, approval, and publication.
  • Templates, source files, and content libraries are organized and easy for the team to reuse.
  • You continuously improve content processes by documenting what works and addressing recurring production bottlenecks.
