POSITION SUMMARY: Develops materials and coordinates with internal and external vendors to deliver messages to the public and the media regarding Birkey’s Farm Store, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  1. Support the Marketing Manager with planning, implementing, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
  2. Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across varying timelines and complexities simultaneously.
  3. Create and oversee the production of internal and external marketing deliverables including print documents, radio, email blasts, flyers, digital marketing, and other related efforts, as directed. Prepare, format, and edit a wide range of documents.
  4. Organize and complete work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
  5. Package and prepare files for release to printers. Conduct press checks.
  6. Support social media efforts and web updates, including content creation, editing, and posting as needed.
  7. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including store managers and other team members at all locations to develop, manage and deploy customer and prospective customer communication projects.
  8. Assist with video production efforts and photography requirements to support marketing strategies and tactics.
  9. Stay up to date with new techniques and design trends through research and education.
  10. Proactively manage the organization of marketing collateral including content, documents, images, and project data.
  11. Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorming initiatives by identifying and proposing internal and external ideas to promote general awareness of the Birkey’s Farm Store brand.
  12. Occasionally travel to store locations and events as needed.
  13. Identify marketing trends, industry pulse, and key opportunities for innovation.
  14. Assist in the selection and ordering of company apparel and promotional items.
  15. Assist Marketing Manager with other marketing projects as requested.
  16. Must be available to commute and work in the administrative office full-time.
  17. Maintain a safe working environment and always adhere to company safety program.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and all social media platforms.
  • Comfortable with, or able to quickly learn, Active Campaign, ClickFunnels, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Strong ability to organize and complete work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
  • Strong ability to maintain a high degree of motivation in team members to ensure focus on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Experience producing and editing high-quality video and photographic content for marketing purposes, including familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to get around the corporate office for various tasks.

  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate equipment as necessary.
  • Must meet health assessment requirements.
