Now, we are on an unstoppable mission for a Marketing Intelligence Strategist to join our team. As a Marketing Intelligence Strategist, you will be challenged to evolve the analytics approach through thought leadership, bringing innovative approaches and tools to the team and act as a leader for the Analytics team and across AbelsonTaylor’s capabilities. The ideal team member is able to manage projects to successful completion, be proactive, and work independently to identify key observations and actionable insights that can then be shared across teams to help to shape not only business strategies, but also creative and tactical strategies across both online and offline executions.  

This position will be accountable for creating & running performance reports and assisting in the development of new insightful story boards for product managers and other key stakeholders. What You'll Do 

Data Interpretation & Data-Driven Insights: 

  • Execute Measurement Strategy: Execute the measurement strategy to produce monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables and present findings to clients as needed.
  • Generate Actionable Insights: Move beyond observations to generate and communicate clear, compelling, and actionable insights.
  • Create Visualizations: Select and create visualizations or dashboards that best convey key ideas and actionable insights from survey, media, and secondary/syndicated data. 

Data Collection & Manipulation: 

  • Google Analytics Tagging: Create Google Analytics tagging requirements documentation and implement basic tagging with Google Tag Manager.
  • QA Data Collection: Conduct QA of data collection to ensure data quality and provide feedback to developers as needed.
  • Use Marketing Analytics Platforms: Be comfortable using a variety of marketing analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc. 

Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Anticipate Client Needs: Anticipate internal and external clients’ needs and proactively develop solutions to address them.
  • Stay Updated with AdTech: Stay up to date with AdTech and measurement technologies.
  • Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes.
  • Collaborate with Vendors: Collaborate with other agencies and/or vendors as necessary to deliver comprehensive program evaluations and recommendations to clients.
  • Manage Multiple Projects: Work on multiple clients and projects concurrently.
  • Mentor Team Members: Mentor junior team members as needed. 
What Makes You A Great Fit
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a business focus such as Statistics, Economics, Finance or Marketing
  • Experience: 1-3 years of business experience in management consulting, advertising, or interactive/technology consulting 
  • Curiosity and Detail-Oriented: A natural curiosity and the capability to question the data; highly detail-oriented.
  • Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency: Strong background in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Web Analytic Tools Experience: Specific experience using Web Analytic tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture, Tableau, WS Access, etc.); Google Analytics Certified preferred.
  • Statistical Modeling Knowledge: Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, and ROI.

Compensation Range: $72,000-$90,000. The starting salary offer will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. The company reserves the right to adjust this pay range at any time.
