The Role

(Based in Chicago /Hybrid)

We’re looking for a curious,AI-savvy undergrad or recent grad to join our Growth Marketing team as a Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. This isn't a traditional internship, you’ll be embedded in the heart of our growth engine to design, create, and launch high-impact marketing campaigns, social media programs, and event experiences that directly shape our market presence and drive industry conversation.

The capstone of this internship is the end-to-end execution of a "Digital Spotlight" series—an integrated project where you will spearhead a multi-channel social campaign, help coordinate a high-profile live or virtual event, and draft communications and share the results with the team. Along the way, you’ll work hands-on with the modern marketing stack and AI-powered content tools to scale our voice and engage our community like never before.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and monitor engaging content across our social platforms. You’ll be the voice of the brand, driving daily engagement and growing our digital community.
  • Content Creation: From snappy LinkedIn posts to long-form blog entries, you’ll produce high-quality assets that tell the LogicGate story.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Work with the Marketing and Sales teams to design and host unique in-person and virtual event experiences that provide tangible value to our audience.
  • Customer Advocacy & Voice: Working alongside key team members, source customer spotlight features that will be promoted on LinkedIn and the LogicGate blog
  • Integrated Campaigns: Support demand generation by aligning social and content strategies with larger campaign goals, tracking performance analytics to see what resonates.

  • Academic Background: You are working towards a Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations (Summer 2026 grad or recent graduate).
  • Storytelling Flair: You have a 3.0+ GPA and a portfolio (or class projects) that demonstrates your ability to write clean, compelling copy.
  • Creative Problem Solving: You approach challenges with empathy and a "user-first" mindset when creating content or planning events.
  • Collaborative Communicator: You believe in open collaboration and know how to work across departments to get the best results.
  • Detail Oriented: You care deeply about the "little things"—from perfect grammar in a press release to the timing of a social post.
  • Curious & Driven: You love learning new tools, untangling complex industry topics, and turning them into simple, impactful stories.
  • AI & Tech Savvy: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social scheduling tools is a huge plus. Familiarity with Salesforce or Marketing Cloud is the cherry on top!

Program Details:

  • 12-week internship starting on June 1, 2026 through August 28, 2026

Note: the exact end date is flexible and will be discussed during the interview process

  • We offer competitive, market-anchored pay for our interns. The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $28/hr.
  • Interns are expected to work from our office located in downtown Chicago (River North), 2-4 days per week
  • Gain meaningful work experience in the field of study and participate in special projects.
  • Take part in Internship Program activities, including social events, development workshops, networking with company leaders, and more!
  • Assigned to a mentor to guide you throughout your internship and beyond!

Program Eligibility:

  • You are enrolled full time in an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior or have recently graduated within the past 6 months with your Undergraduate Degree.
  • Are available to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship. 
  • Must be based in Chicago
