Harbor IT is a cyber-first Managed Service Provider (MSP) helping small and mid-sized businesses strengthen, secure, and scale their IT operations. We serve clients in Private Equity, Life Sciences, Agriculture, and Oil & Gas — industries where uptime, compliance, and data protection are mission-critical.
Our approach is different: we lead with cybersecurity, compliance, and industry expertise, delivering enterprise-grade protection tailored to the needs of growing organizations.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to build and lead a marketing engine focused on ROI-driven growth and vertical brand authority. This role will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving measurable pipeline creation through expert-led engagement and thought leadership — not high digital ad spends.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of building market presence within defined verticals, delivering quantifiable results, and collaborating with sales and subject-matter experts to turn brand credibility into revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the demand generation strategy for Harbor IT, driving pipeline and revenue growth across key verticals (Private Equity, Life Sciences, Fresh Produce, Oil & Gas) with cybersecurity-led solutions like XDR and compliance programs.
  • Create campaigns that convert—from expert-led webinars and content to high-touch events and referral programs—designed to deliver measurable pipeline impact.
  • Partner with SMEs and Sales to craft compelling narratives and assets that resonate with decision-makers and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Drive ROI accountability: Build metrics frameworks for every initiative, track attribution, and continuously optimize for revenue impact.
  • Innovate without overspending: Execute ABM, partnerships, and event-driven strategies with minimal reliance on paid digital ads.
  • Lead and coach a lean marketing team to deliver results, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and speed.
  • Leverage marketing tech (HubSpot, Salesforce, analytics tools) to automate workflows, track performance, and report on revenue contribution.
  • Experiment and iterate: Test new tactics, uncover partnership opportunities, and refine go-to-market programs to expand Harbor IT’s footprint.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in B2B demand generation or growth marketing, ideally in IT services, cybersecurity, or compliance-driven sectors.
  • Proven ability to connect marketing investment to revenue outcomes
  • Experience building vertical-specific programs that drive brand authority and measurable growth.
  • Skilled in relationship marketing with limited paid media dependency.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience marketing to SMB decision-makers and compliance-conscious industries (Private Equity, Life Science, Fresh Produce, Oil & Gas).

Compensation

• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

• Comprehensive benefits package
