Position Summary

The Growth team is responsible for leading the growth of the organization. We’re looking for an Affiliate Manager to help accelerate Tovala’s already break-neck growth and drive the strategic direction of affiliate marketing campaigns for new customer acquisition.

This role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving relationships with media publishers, influencers, and other affiliate partners. An ideal candidate will come in with strong relationships already established to help fast track new partner onboarding opportunities.

You'll work closely with cross-functional partners across paid media, PR, brand, design and data to drive key initiatives and deliver results. You will be operating at both a strategic and executional level. For example, at any given time, you may be collaborating with our PR team to pitch Tovala’s inclusion in an article, identifying influencers to join our program, and determining new campaign incentives to drive more adoption and higher engagement with our affiliate program.

How you’ll spend your time at Tovala

• Establish, maintain, and nurture relationships with affiliate partners.




• Monitor activity within the affiliate program, analyze performance, and identify areas of opportunity to add new customer growth.




• Own the affiliate commission and incentive strategy for affiliate commission payouts; measure results from incentive increases to ensure changes drive incremental net revenue through the channel.




• Proactively reach out to affiliate partners to inform them of new offers, products and content to encourage and support them in promoting Tovala, and work with them to increase affiliate driven revenue.




• Schedule calls with new affiliates to understand their brand, how they will promote Tovala, and provide support so they can build a successful strategy.




• Develop and implement an email and social media affiliate outreach strategy to stay top of mind and keep them informed of what’s new at Tovala.




• Evaluate inbound affiliate leads for inclusion into our program and ensure that affiliates are complying with our Ts & Cs.




• Collaborate with the PR team to build and maintain relationships with publishers to pitch Tovala’s inclusion.




• Identify opportunities and coordinate outreach for affiliate placement among top ranking organic search listings.




• Support the Growth Team in customer acquisition efforts, driving down costs, and building customer engagement.




• Stay closely attuned to key company success metrics and performance targets.

• You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can adapt quickly to change, and tackle ambiguity and unfamiliar tasks with a positive attitude and resourcefulness.




• You are a highly collaborative, team player with low ego and high eagerness to take on new challenges in a growing business.




• You have a proven track record of developing revenue generating affiliate and influencer strategies.




• You have strong organizational and project management skills.




• You are able to operate at both a strategic and executional level; meaning you can ideate and directly execute.




• You love food, whether that means cooking it, eating it, frequently pressing your nose against deli windows, or lusting after soft-serve on Instagram. All fair game.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferentially in marketing or an analytical field.




• 3+ years of work experience specific to affiliate marketing.




• 5+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing roles.




• Extensive experience working with Affiliate Marketing platforms, ideally Impact Radius. 




• Experience working with influencer programs is a plus.




• Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of Looker and/or SQL is a plus.




• Experience working with direct to consumer companies is strongly preferred.
