DRW is a principal trading firm, which means we have no outside investors or third party funds, and we trade for our own account in markets around the world. Our trading is diverse—across asset classes and instruments, using our own models and systems—and it’s this diversification that sets us apart. We were founded in 1992 by bringing together technology, research, and risk management to capture trading and investment opportunities, and we still take that approach today. Though we’ve grown to more than 800 exceptional people in six cities around the world, we have the spirit of a start-up and a constant focus on results.

As a Brand & Communications Coordinator, you’ll help DRW and our affiliated companies (Vigilant, Convexity Properties, Cumberland, DRW Venture Capital, to name a few) build a strong brand and reputation by applying your passion for PR, brand marketing and communications. You’ll be part of small, relatively new team that is passionate about telling the stories of our people, businesses and ideas. This is a great role for someone who wants to jump in on projects across all areas of communications and who thrives when the pace is quick and each day brings new opportunities.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Develop and source content for the blog, websites and social media channels
  • Create and edit press releases, bylined articles, internal announcements, PowerPoint presentations and other deliverables
  • Plan and create content for company quarterly newsletter and intranet
  • Create and maintain communications assets, including executive bios, photo library, key messages, fact sheets and brand elements
  • Work together with the team on measurement, reporting and analytics to ensure desired outcomes and manage priorities
  • Assist Brand & Communications team with communications projects such as website redesigns, video development, philanthropic events, and company meetings

You’ll be right at home if you have:

  • Up to two years of experience in brand marketing, PR or strategic communications or strong internship experience in these areas
  • Top notch writing and storytelling skills
  • A flexible approach to getting the job done
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite and PR tools (content creation, video editing, social media publishing, social media design, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, Marketing or related field
