Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the Marketing Integrated Plan and acting as an advisor to ensure execution on the Company’s strategies. Leads tracking and coordination of transformation initiatives and provides the overarching view of the timeliness of deliverables for the marketing portfolio. This role is critical in bringing together the view of many cross-divisional teams to ensure we can achieve our business results. Provides high levels of accountability, communications, and effective stakeholder management by regularly communicating and partnering across various stakeholder groups including Merchandising, Finance, One Plan Change Office (OPCO) etc. Encourages collaboration and embeds a culture of continuous improvement in the Marketing planning process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the process to govern, develop, prioritize and approve the Marketing Integrated Plan.
  • Leads and oversees the creation of management reporting for strategy plans; provides insights and analysis to management regarding plan development, resource requests, and risks to assist with long-range planning efforts.
  • Resolves high level conflicts by navigating and negotiating resource allocation with affected executive management. Communicates verbally and in writing with various audiences, including executive management.
  • Facilitates development and consolidation of plan components across all areas of Marketing.
  • Identifies opportunities to consolidate ideas and Marketing strategic plans. Defines investment initiatives, determines execution feasibility (capacity), and validates financial impact.
  • Partners with finance/business to determine 3-year plan impact and input/updates to the Marketing Budget
  • Partners closely with Merchandising leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and leads Integrated Customer Plan submissions
  • Works with Communications team to ensure timely socialization of Marketing integration plan including priorities, pivots, etc.
  • Provides additional analytical support as required to develop internal marketing plans.
  • Owns and manages the Marketing action planning & risk log.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, resolves, and escalates issues and risks to the next level and/or Business Owners, when necessary.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of marketing experience OR a High School diploma/GED and at least 9 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
  • Experience developing a project plan, including charter, scope, project management approach and management plans, such as the statement of work, cost estimates, schedule, etc.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
