Local Marketing Manager
SpotHero is seeking a Local Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Leading a growing team, you’ll develop event partnerships and local marketing programs designed to get more people parking with SpotHero and grow our brand awareness in markets across the country. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in event marketing, street team activations, training and leading teams, and strategic partnerships.
Who we are: SpotHero is a rapidly growing tech company that’s making life easier for the daily driver. Drivers across the nation use the SpotHero mobile app or website to reserve discounted parking on-the-go or in advance.
What you’ll do:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Local Partnership Coordinators
- Develop partnerships with local organizations in SpotHero markets across the U.S.
- Oversee event marketing and street team activations that drive customer acquisition
- Raise awareness of the SpotHero brand via local marketing, including events, partnerships, and on-the-ground activations
- Set growth targets and ensure that the partnership team achieves its sales goals
- Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to measure local marketing KPIs
- Enhance team processes and performance with your innovative ideas
- Lead sales training to grow and develop an enthusiastic local marketing team
- Manage all consumer focused events and tradeshows
You are:

- Analytical. It’s a piece of cake for you to collect, analyze and make decisions based on data in order to improve the effectiveness of our marketing.
- Creative. You can come up with ideas and messaging that bridge the gap between partners and SpotHero for harmonious campaigns.
- Collaborative. Bringing marketing campaigns and partnerships to life requires effective cross-departmental planning, communication and support between our Supply team, Customer Heroes and Marketing.
- Organized. You have great follow through on tasks and superior organizational skills.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of local or event marketing experience
- Experience managing a sales or field marketing team
- Comfortable in a startup or highly ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated track record of offline user acquisition and generating brand awareness
- Experience managing a budget and CRM tools
- Sales or business development experience
