Job Description
Responsible for leading the execution of high-impact, strategic brand and marketing initiatives. Develops and drives programs that support key revenue, transaction, and customer retention objectives. Establishes and strengthens relationships with internal clients. Provides product and brand leadership in support of the go-to-market strategies in key market segments. Performs inbound and outbound lead-generation and nurture programming, content marketing development, sales enablement, and results metrics and analytics. Manages a team that leads digital marketing initiatives and design strategy. Develops and coaches' teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Develops strategies and executes marketing programs to deepen the relationships with current clients, convert prospects into clients, and drives significant client lifetime value. Implements channel and client outreach strategies. Provides sales enablement support. Content channels include email, online, social media and mobile.
- Achieves significant and measurable improvements to inbound and outbound marketing execution. Utilizes reports and metrics to make informed recommendations and decisions. Evaluates and reports on goals, results, challenges, and achievements. Communicates findings and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Provides strategic support to the launch and adoption of the portfolio of core and emerging products, services, and payment technologies. Implementing inbound and outbound marketing initiatives.
- Provides direction in the use of marketing automation tools throughout the department. Provides reporting recommendations to leadership regarding efficiency and effectiveness of tools on improving client engagement.
- Advises product management on the development of market analyses, market sizing, competitive analyses, and client segmentation.
- Partners with in-house and agency content and creative services teams to develop messaging and assets for marketing campaigns. Utilizes analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment. Works closely with business technology teams to maintain compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here's what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Payments Industry, Technology, Marketing, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Payments Industry, Technology, Marketing, or related field
- Valid government-issued driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we'd also look for:
- Master's Degree in Marketing, or related field
- Demonstrated competence in the management, development and administration of digital marketing ecosystems, such as web CMS, CRM-MAS, digital publishing systems, social channels, email and direct marketing channels
- Experience with CRM tools, including Pardot, Salesforce, Exact Target, and Poppulo
- Ability to leverage marketing content tools such as Uberflip and Workfront
- A growth mindset
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Executive presence with an ability to influence key stakeholders and coach a team of marketers to drive results
