ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to bring our B2B product suite to life through the art of messaging and storytelling. This includes working closely with Product and Design teams early in the development process to align on product/market fit and create crucial foundational documents like product briefs. This role will also partner with operations in the selection and implementation of enablement tools that support the scaling of sales initiatives across different products. 

This role is US based only but we are open to any of our US offices in Chicago, IL, Conshohocken, PA (Philly), and New York City or fully remote in any of these states: CA, DE, IL, IN, FLA, MA, NY, NJ, NC, SC, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, CT, MD, MI. From time to time, there will be limited travel to our offices as the need arises.


WHAT YOU'LL DO  

  • Create an account-based marketing enablement process
  • Partner closely with the sales team to develop compelling marketing collateral including presentations, one-pagers, FAQs, case studies, battlecards, etc. 
  • Act as a voice of current and future partners to advise on industry trends that inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content and collateral 
  • Partner with analytics to measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives and create a repository of strong data metrics
  • Write powerful, action inducing thought leadership pieces including whitepapers, blog posts, and newsletters
  • Introduce innovative marketing initiatives to drive new leads such as ABM campaigns, webinars, etc. 
  • Maintain and manage ShopRunner-owned properties like the B2B resource center 
  • Work cross functionally with operations to select and implement enablement tools

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing (ecommerce experience is ideal) Strong Communication Skills. 
  • Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual
  • You can distill complex information into actionable insights for diverse audiences. You are adept at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and translating into various media (PowerPoint, case studies, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Player. You can work with diverse stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, and report progress. You are excited to collaborate with various team members from product managers to sales professionals. 
  • Analytical Acumen. You understand value drivers within retail / ecommerce and are capable of partnering with Product and Analytics to determine the most salient data points articulating the value of a Product and develop a plan to tease out those data points. 
  • Retail Knowledge. In-depth understanding of the retail / ecommerce landscape, challenges, opportunities, and drivers; ability to craft a compelling story about the impact a product will have on a partner's ecommerce business. 
  • Bias for Action. You know how to create a plan, build consensus and make things happen. 
  • Enthusiasm. You are excited about working in an ever-evolving environment, but are unfazed by the ambiguity and dynamic culture that come with it.
