What You’ll Do:
 
Valkyrie is searching for students who are passionate about the financial markets and looking to learn more about options market-making. During the one-week Boot Camp, you will go through Mock trading sessions and trading games to help build an understanding of what a day in the life of a trader is like at Valkyrie. You will learn how to successfully manage and execute a trading strategy through education courses and trading sessions. We aim to train our future junior traders to become desk leads quickly. The Boot Camp will provide a first-hand look into Valkyrie and our approach to trading.

What You’ll Need:

  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027
  • Willingness to work in-person, in Chicago on May 18-22, 2026
  • Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Passion for the financial markets
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make split-second logical decisions in a high-pressure environment
  • Competitive drive and the maturity to handle considerable responsibility
  • Capability to quickly recover from mistakes
  • Quantitative Analysis skills are a plus
  • Programming experience preferred
  • Must have valid, ongoing, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored or self-initiated immigration filings.
