Title: Microsoft Cloud, Data & AI Account Executive
Location: Remote, US-based with travel up to 50%
 
Position Overview
As a Microsoft Cloud, Data & AI Sales Account Executive at MCA Connect, you are responsible for achieving bookings and revenue targets for MCA’s Data, Analytics, Automation, and AI services—spanning Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure data platform, Power BI, Power Platform, and AI solutions (including advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases). 
 
You will drive new and existing client growth by identifying high-value business problems, building executive-aligned solution roadmaps, and orchestrating pursuits from discovery through close—partnering closely with delivery leadership and Microsoft field teams to ensure what is sold becomes measurable outcomes.
 
This is a senior role with wide-ranging and often complex responsibilities, requiring strong business and industry acumen (manufacturing, distribution, and energy), consultative selling skills, and the ability to translate strategy into executable programs across data modernization, governance, analytics, and AI.
 
Business Development
The role will be responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle and driving revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing new and expanding business with clients, primarily within the manufacturing sector, focusing on companies seeking to enhance their operational efficiency using analytics and data-driven decision making.  
 
Microsoft Relationship Management
Work collaboratively with Microsoft to co-sell and drive pipeline through strategic relationships and adding value. Expand network with Microsoft’s multiple sales organizations and increase MCA’s market share and brand awareness within the Microsoft ecosystem. 
 
Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers, to understand their business challenges and position solutions to meet objectives and solve business challenges. 
 
Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of Microsoft and MCA Connect offerings and tailor communications to address the unique needs of each client with measurable business outcomes.  
 
Market Analysis
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to position MCA Connect as a thought leader and trusted advisor for the use of data, advanced analytics, and Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing.  
 
Sales Process Experience and aptitude for leading a complex sales process that requires organization, attention to detail, diligence, and creative problem solving with a client-centric approach. 
 
Sales Team Collaboration
Work closely with the MCA Connect pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to provide a seamless transition from prospecting and sales to implementation, ensuring a positive outcome for clients.  
 
Sales Targets
Achieve and exceed sales targets, including revenue goals, quarterly quotas, and other performance metrics.
