  • Write unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) and support automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub Actions; support containerized deployments where used.
  • Apply secure coding standards (OWASP Top 10) and remediate static-analysis and vulnerability-scan findings.
  • Modernize and refactor legacy .NET Framework applications toward current .NET and cloud-ready architectures.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes on schedule.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 8-10 years of software development experience (additional years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree).
  • 4+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
  • Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and database design.
  • Experience building and securing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Working knowledge of a front-end framework (Angular, React, or Blazor) and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Active DoW Secret security clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Azure or AWS services, including government cloud regions.
  • Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with RMF/DISA STIG requirements for application security.
  • Experience migrating .NET Framework applications to modern .NET.
  • CompTIA Security+ or another DoD 8140-qualifying certification; Microsoft Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
