About the role
As the Mid Market Account Executive, you'll operate as a top individual contributor. You'll carry your own quota, closing mid-market back office deals, while also working alongside the CEO to develop the playbook. You'll own the full sales cycle, prospecting, relationship-building and closing deals for practices to feel impact immediately. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to stay close to the deal, not just manage a pipeline from a distance.
You'll partner with Rely Health executive leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, refine messaging, and build the sales processes that lets Rely Health scale. At the same time, you'll be in the room for key prospect calls, helping close the deals that matter most and showing the team what excellence looks like in practice.
The ideal candidate is comfortable running their own book of business, working directly with practice owners and administrators who are tired of throwing headcount at the problem. We are looking for someone who is excited to build the next phase of Rely Health!
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle for clinics and practices in mid-market — from prospecting to close — with a bias toward relationship-based selling.
- Help shape early go-to-market motion for mid-market sector, feeding insights back to product and marketing as the category takes shape.
- Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market practices, consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas as a founding seller on a newly launched product line.
- Partner closely with the account team, product, and operations to craft compelling demos and ensure smooth handoffs from close to onboarding.
- Act as a category evangelist, staying ahead of the agentic AI and healthcare landscape so you're a trusted advisor, not just a vendor, to prospects and customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated history of success in a fast-paced, tech sales role with strong quota attainment across multiple quarters
- Strong track record of penetrating new markets and closing net-new business, ideally with an early-stage or newly launched product
- Genuine excitement for agentic AI and the ability to translate technical concepts — autonomous workflows, AI copilots, rules-based automation — into clear business value for non-technical buyers
- Tenacious hunger to win business and close deals, especially in a category-defining product motion
- Ability to speak credibly with stakeholders at every level, from practice managers to C-suite executives
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment — comfortable operating without a fully paved playbook
