As a Mid-Market Account Manager at SWBC, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our relationships with mid-sized clients. Mid-sized clients are those whose revenue falls within the range of $25,000 or less. You will be responsible for understanding their unique needs, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. Your primary objective will be to drive account growth and financial profitability while providing exceptional customer service.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting relationships with mid-sized clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Identifies growth opportunities within client accounts and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Stays up to date with our products and services to effectively present them to clients and address their inquiries.
  • Develops account plans and strategies that align with the company's objectives and client needs.
  • Works closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Addresses and resolves client issues or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Provides regular reports on account status, revenue forecasts, and market trends to management.
  • Strives for the success and satisfaction of clients, ensuring they receive maximum value from our offerings.
  • Applies critical thinking skills to analyze client challenges, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions that align with the company's goals and client objectives.
  • Auto or air travel to designated top clients within assigned territory, to also include prospective clients.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of financial services, risk management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement them to meet client needs.
  • Deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs, along with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Adherence to high ethical standards and a commitment to compliance with industry regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated to achieve goals and targets.
