We are seeking a Finance Domain Pursuit Consultant to help grow our North America market presence. The Business Development Team is responsible for acquiring new clients and meeting revenue goals by selling UMAX CIS and related solutions to municipal utilities. This role is responsible for aiding this growth by providing solution demonstrations, assisting with Discovery Sessions, and responding to RFPs. The ideal candidate will have a solid finance background, knowledge of the utility industry, and an understanding of CIS modernization initiatives.
In addition to supporting business development activities, the person in this role may occasionally be called upon to contribute to active customer projects. By leveraging finance and billing domain expertise, this person will provide guidance, participate in workshops and solution reviews, and collaborate with delivery teams to help drive successful customer outcomes while maintaining a primary focus on pursuit and sales support activities.

• Be the link between business and IT for finance and billing domains (GL, AP, AR). Examples: contract and product management, credit management, processing outgoing and incoming payments, configuration of accounting, manage invoice, etc.
• Translate business and functional requirements into application solutions
• Configure UMAX processes to make sure the system works as expected for demonstrations and discovery sessions
• Work with the sales team to make sure that RFP and prospect needs are incorporated into product specifications and functions
• Lead and organize meetings and workshops with the Pursuit and Sales
• Travel, as needed
