As a Nail Artist at East Bank Club, you will join a team of hospitality professionals who are committed to providing exceptional service to members. East Bank Club is a leading fitness, social, and dining destination in Chicago's River North neighborhood. With its outstanding reputation, the Club is an institution that has set the standard for excellence in the fitness industry. As a Nail Artist, you will have an opportunity to leverage your creativity and passion for beauty to enhance the experience of our clients.

Rate of Pay: 30% commission, plus $6.40 per hour and gratuity. Commission structure: 30% of service revenue. Estimated earnings range: $25-30 per hour based on typical services volume. 10% commission on product sales.

Part time, 15-20 hours per week.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
  • Provide a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and gel polish.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques.
  • Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training programs and attend staff meetings.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Illinois Nail Technician license.
  • Knowledge of nail care products, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for sustained periods of time.
  • Ability to make movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
