As a Network Attached Storage (NAS) Implementation Support Planner, you will contribute to the success of Caterpillar's remote and global NAS environment. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for storage migrations, implementation projects and support. This includes planning, creating design solutions, deploying, and monitoring to ensure the NAS infrastructure operates at maximum reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

What You Will Do:
- Design, document, deploy, and manage remote office NAS solutions through all phases of lifecycle management for Dell, NetApp and Pure storage equipment deployed at enterprise hosting locations and local facilities.
- Support infrastructure and deployment projects across multiple regions and locations.
- Partner with hardware, software, and vendor teams on the development of data center solutions.
- Provide project participation, advice, and counsel to IT personnel, management, and project teams on various aspects of remote office and global NAS hardware and software.
- Plan and implement large scale data migrations for global site locations.
- Establish and implement global security and operational best practices and adhere to IT Controls.
- Adhere to IT Service Management processes, instruction, and procedural documentation.
- Work with application support teams/customers/operations/application teams to develop plans to minimize the technical and/or business impact of NAS environment changes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems within the NAS environments.

- Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate service interruptions is critical; management and impacted customer base must be aware of the situation and anticipated recovery time.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against deadlines in a complex global environment.
