Position Summary:  

The Account Executive is responsible for achieving expectations in monthly sales targets, job functions, and responsibilities. This position will be responsible for working specifically with our Carrier audience and understanding this persona with expertise. This is an inside sales role; all customer interactions are performed via the phone and email. 

Essential Job Functions:  
  • Achieve monthly quota of bookings 
  • Report and record all activities in Salesforce.com, a web-based CRM system, and qualify leads for sales development 
  • Become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com's products and services 
  • Exemplify Truckstop.com's core values and behaviors 
  • Proficient in using multiple software applications simultaneously 
  • Ability to adapt and be an early adopter of change 
  • Have the drive to achieve results; Play to Win 
  • Manage lead, opportunity and development pipeline in multiple systems 
  • Accurately record sales and summarize interaction with customers 
  • Qualify inbound leads and prospects via phone and email, identifying key decision makers, business pain points, the size of the opportunity, budget, and purchase timeframes 
  • Process new customer applications and accounts 
  • Target new accounts daily to build sales pipeline 
  • Send emails and make prospecting calls, to peak interest in learning more about Truckstop.com products and services 
  • Become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com's products and services 
  • Exemplify Truckstop.com's core values and behaviors 
  • Proficient in using multiple software applications simultaneously  
  • Ability to adapt and be an early adopter of change  
  • Have the drive to achieve results; Play to Win  
  • Other duties as assigned 
Position Requirements:  
  • High school diploma 
  • Experience in carrying and reaching a sales quota 
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of professionalism and a true desire to speak to prospective clients 
  • Must be able to quickly articulate business benefits and functionality of software solutions 
  • Must be able to handle objections and ask probing questions that surface business needs and sales opportunities 
  • Must be able to collect company information and navigate to the correct person quickly and effectively 
  • Must be driven to reach personal and team assigned goals 
  • Ability to multi-task projects simultaneously 
  • This is an inside sales role with high output on outbound dials 
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation / communication skills, including both executive and technical audiences 
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and basic spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail 
  • Preferred: Bilingual Spanish / English

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for commission based on meeting monthly targets. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
$20$24 USD
