NewsNation, the country's fastest-growing cable news network, is looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to join our Creative Marketing team. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage projects from initial request through production and delivery, and experience assigning graphic/motion designers with an emphasis on design standards and productivity. Proven experience in stakeholder and client relations is essential, with the ability to navigate detailed conversations and achieve positive outcomes.
ROLEThe Creative Project Coordinator serves as the primary operational partner to the creative leadership team, focusing on the end-to-end workflow and delivery of design projects for the Promotion and Design departments within NewsNation Creative Marketing. This includes assignments related to on-air graphics for news programming (show opens, templates, franchises, etc.), on-air promotion graphics, franchise and digital/podcast/social packages, supervision of the Graphics partition of the Digital Asset website, and support for Creative Marketing clients' projects, including Sales, PR, Affiliate Relations, and other Nexstar properties on an as-needed basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Define project scope, set objectives, and develop comprehensive project plans from initial request through final delivery, including timelines and production schedules.
- Coordinate with the Head of Design, Creative Directors, Graphics Automation Specialists, designers, and show teams to project-manage workflow and deliverables across on-air graphics, franchise graphics, digital/podcast/social packages, media buys, live events, print, and promotional campaigns.
- Assemble project teams and assign roles/tasks to designers based on skill set and bandwidth; manage resources and track day-to-day progress to keep projects on schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the creative team, stakeholders (Sales, PR, Affiliate Relations), clients, and outside vendors—reporting progress and resolving issues; serve as a brand advocate ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
- Identify potential risks, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies to keep projects on track and meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure projects are routed for proper approval, record all sign-offs, and archive final creative deliverables; deliver branded content and key art to stakeholders and outside requesters as needed.
- Manage the delivery of branded content and key art, while overseeing the maintenance of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) website.
- Help maintain and roll out style guides, toolkits, and GFX packages to ensure deliverables meet required quality and brand standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of Creative Services experience in a cable, broadcast, on-air, boutique agency, or post-production environment.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with proven ability to navigate detailed conversations and achieve positive outcomes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar).
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design file formats, with familiarity across video, print, and digital media production; website development knowledge a plus.
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
