Department Overview
The Motorola Solutions Customer Experiences and Events team is responsible for ideation, plan development and activation of proprietary and one-of-a-kind internal and external events within North America.
The team consists of event and trade show marketing professionals who regularly collaborate across various functional teams (marketing, product groups, sales professionals, leadership and more) helping to bring strategy to life.
This team is part of the Marketing organization.
North America Events Marketing Specialist, within the Customer Experiences and Events Team is responsible for overseeing, organizing, streamlining and planning the Enterprise Event Opportunities for the Motorola Solutions Portfolio. The success of the Enterprise Events Marketing Manager will depend heavily on teamwork with our Event Marketing, Field Marketing and Pipeline Expansion Marketing teams.
Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with overall Motorola Solutions and objectives, including large flagship events with significant brand presence, smaller events, and local drop-off events, all at scale

  • Event Planning: Oversee end-to-end event planning, including budgeting, logistics, venue selection, vendor management, booth properties, and the development of event timelines for a wide range of events

  • Event Follow-up: Track and maintain post event activities including event tagging and lead follow-up to ensure marketing investment is being measured correctly

  • Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the Field Marketing, Events Marketing, and Pipeline Expansion Marketing teams to ensure event marketing plans are aligned with overall marketing strategies, encompassing pre-event, on-site, and post-event efforts across all product markets

  • Organization: Around Motorola Solutions Events calendars ensuring proper representation across the entire events landscape

  • Up to 30% travel

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Project management experience and operational knowledge of Motorola Solutions businesses and enterprise events

  • Highly proficient organizational and planning skills

  • Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills when working across multiple cross-functional teams

Target Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements
  • Bachelors degree with 0+ years of event planning experience
  • OR 1+ years of event planning experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
