DevOps Engineer

As an DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for partnering closely with the Software Development teams to ensure software output is operationally sound before releasing the software into a production environment.  You will prepare software for installation by running diagnostic tests and monitoring/configuring the software as needed during the testing cycle to ensure minimal impact as software is released into the production environment. You will ensure that all systems and equipment are running efficiently, effectively, and safely to support the CSG's objectives.

We are looking for an DevOps Engineer who will:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of software systems to ensure reliability and performance

• Identify, troubleshoot and address basic challenges in software development with guidance

• Investigate and resolve basic technical issues and incidents, working to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.

• Maintain scripts and programs that aide in operation, diagnosis of applications, & platforms in production with guidance

• Assist in writing automation software to support software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate and coordinate with application and platform teams to install, configure and monitor operations of business applications.

• Assist in documenting operational procedures and best practices.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

• 1+ year development experience

• Experience automating processes, building software tools, and creating infrastructure-as-code solutions in a DevOps environment

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment

Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
