Operations Coordinator

Location: Remote (Illinois-based, preferably Chicago area)
Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 + Benefits

What You’ll Do
  • 50% Procedure & Systems: Write playbooks, workflows, policies, contracts, email templates, and scripts

  • 20% Coordination: Keep projects, schedules, and resources on track—manage client libraries, vendor deliverables, and travel

  • 20% Project Management: Drive client projects from kickoff to delivery, holding teams accountable through weekly check-ins

  • 10% CEO/Team Support: Document internal processes, manage company initiatives, and keep operations in sync

What We’re Looking For
  • Based in Illinois (commutable for quarterly team events)

  • 5+ years operations or interior design trade experience (HR-related business or people operations/project management background preferred)

  • Process enthusiast (Traction/EOS, Six Sigma mindset)

  • Expert writer & editor—strong with contracts, policies, and manuals

  • Excellent communicator across Zoom, email, and client meetings

  • Organized, adaptable, and tech-savvy (Google Suite, CRM, typing 60+ WPM)

  • Curious, humble, eager to learn, and passionate about design industry clients
