Led by engineering and product first founders, Morty is a mortgage platform that empowers loan officers and mortgage brokerages to build their own businesses under their own brand. Leveraging the technology and infrastructure we built as a DTC mortgage broker, we remove the complexity and cost of running a mortgage business while providing the tools to help our partners grow and increase profits. 

Who We’re Looking For 

Morty is seeking a highly capable, execution-focused Operations Manager to own critical operational workflows and serve as a force multiplier for the COO. This role is ideal for a strong generalist who thrives in fast-moving environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and takes pride in seeing work through to the end. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Own and manage end-to-end customer onboarding processes through handoff to customer success team
  • Serve as a key execution partner to the COO, driving operational priorities from concept to completion
  • Support day-to-day operations and ensure smooth cross-functional execution
  • Build, document, and continuously improve operational processes and workflows
  • Track and manage timelines for licensing renewals and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance obligations are met on time
  • Act as a reliable point of ownership for high-priority operational initiatives
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in consulting, banking, or startup operations
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with limited hand-holding
  • High ownership mentality; no task too small attitude
  • Calm, reliable executor who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Great with people.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly. Self starter with a “No task is too big or small” attitude.
  • Collaborative, team-centric mindset.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000, depending on candidate experience and location
