Associate Consultant, Client Transitions

Summary:

The successful candidate is responsible for facilitating asset transitions through coordination with prior/successor institutions, various operational teams (MF, Alts, Derivatives, VR/UVRS, NF, RE, Tax) and sometime with the client to onboard / distribute securities

The team also performs asset reconciliation, obtains and delivers tax cost and provides statues to the front office and VR/UVRS throughout the event and at times directly to client.

Major Duties

  • Facilitate activities required to validate documentation and transition assets.
  • Interact with internal partner groups, external parties or with the clients to provide resolution to client issues and requests.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving more complex problems within established guidelines.
  • Carries out activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
  • May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
  • Able to serve as a subject matter expert to other more junior level employees
  • More technically sound in area of expertise and may have a broader knowledge of other areas
  • Delivers a work product that requires less revision
  • Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Qualifications:

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail as activities may have significant financial, client or business impact.
  • Able to multitask with a focus on organization and time management. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required to present information/ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required
