Overview

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for performing a variety of customer service and administrative duties including assigning work requests through various systems.  This role may be assigned to support a specific vertical category or general call center needs. The TRG Client Services Rep ensures that customer requests are fulfilled and workflow is managed.

Responsibilities

  • Track and distribute all orders that come in via email & fax for all newspapers supported by TRG Inbound 
  • Perform copy check and proofreading duties including market specific baskets
  • Promptly & professionally plug-in as needed to ensure all calls are answered in a timely manner
  • Assist with advertising proofs and copy changes to facilitate requests of advertisers and sales representatives
  • Contact customers with issues for Self-Service approvals/confirming private party obit deaths
  • Troubleshoot issues at deadline
  • Perform system checks at individual deadlines to ensure Call Center ads are submitted and cleared to run
  • Processes tear-sheet requests as assigned    
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns
  • Place In-House Ads for Tribune
  • Assist with processing affidavits and sending notarization for assumed name notices

Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written), courteous and clear telephone voice
  • Ability to work in a fast-faced, deadline driven environment
  • Positive, people oriented and energetic
  • Be motivated to meet customer needs
  • Be analytical, creative, and innovative in solving problems
  • Weekend and holiday hours required
  • In-depth experience with Internet (Web and email)
  • Experience with computers (MS Office)
  • Ability to quickly learn various computer systems
  • Typing skills; Minimum 45 wpm
