C.A. Branding is the creative and marketing pillar that sits within C.A. Fortune, the consumer brands agency. We’re in a unique and privileged position here at C.A. Branding. We operate as an individual business unit, working with clients outside of the C.A. fold, however we find cross-pillar opportunities to further serve C.A. clients by developing and executing holistic go-to-market strategies that utilize various pillars within the organization. We also serve as the internal marketing team for the C.A. Fortune masterbrand, creating and executing communication strategies. 

 

 

Position Summary 

 

At C.A. Branding, the Client Strategist provides strategic oversight and helps oversee day-to-day relationships with our Branding clients. Leading client marketing efforts, this key position seeks an individual with the ability to execute marketing strategies, coordinating all aspects of a project, ongoing program, or campaign. It is crucial to accommodate projects that engage people online and offline—out where they live, work and play. The ideal candidate will possess a digital marketing mindset, strategic capabilities, excellent client management skills, be a strong communicator/presenter and have the ability to create proactive ideas that help drive our clients’ businesses upward. Since the parent company of C.A. Branding is C.A. Fortune—a national sales and consumer brands agency—knowledge of the retail CPG space is preferred. 

 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for majority of branding clients 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships 
  • Manage project timelines and budget utilization 
  • Create estimates and scopes of work detailing project descriptions and costs  
  • Maintain vendor and strategic partner relationships on behalf of C.A. Branding and on behalf of clients 
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to unique customer needs and objectives 
  • Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Clearly communicate processes to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Brief the wider branding team on projects during company status 
  • Participate in strategic ideation sessions to develop and drive client brands forward 
  • Evaluate syndicated data to drive client brand recommendations around naming, pricing, offerings, and other brand/product components 
  • Make white space and positioning recommendations to clients based on qualitative and quantitative inputs 
  • Develop new business with existing clients 
  • Collaborate with other C.A. pillars to identify and grow opportunities with clients 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics  
  • Challenge client requests or issue escalations as needed 
  • Develop discussion guides and interview key client stakeholders to obtain information for press releases, marketing collateral, blog posts, social media initiatives, etc. 
  • Make strategic recommendations that fit with client business and marketing objectives 

 

Requirements:   

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field 
  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience required 
  • Related experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm preferred
  • Experience working in food and beverage space is a plus 
  • Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation 
  • Great collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team with tight, sometimes competing deadlines Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and priorities 
  • Passion to learn, innovate, inspire, growth mindset is a must!

Compensation:   

  • Salary commensurate with level of experience and current market landscape
